Chris Beckford, President and CEO of eTRANSERVICES is an Information Technology leader, Strategist and certified Enterprise Architect. Chris was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He has over 30 years of experience in Enterprise Planning & Architecture, Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security, Command, Control (C2), Computers, Communications (C4) systems engineering, acquisition and integration. He served for over 23 years as a U.S. Marine Corp "Mustang - served both as an enlisted and commissioned officer of Marines." He has served in aviation, logistics, light armored reconnaissance, combat development, training & education, and acquisition commands during his military career prior to retirement in 2010.

During his career, Chris served as a Technical Director for a Joint Concept Technology Demonstration project(s); Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) C2 Systems & Enterprise Architect; the MAGTF C2 Chief Architect; Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Product Manager; Information Management Officer; C4 Intelligence systems integration officer; Information Assurance/Cyber Security Officer; Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Marine Corps’ Training & Education Command; the Technical Standards Officer for the Marine Corps Combat Development Command; a Requirements Management Officer and numerous other positions. Immediately following his retirement from active duty he served as the Cloud Strategist for a large systems integrator, served as a member of the Office of Management & Budget's (OMB) Performance Reference Model (PRM) Working Group during 2012 where he supported the development of the Performance Reference Model II for use across the Federal Government before starting his own company - eTRANSERVICES Corp.

Chris earned Master's degrees in Telecommunications & Information Systems Management from Capitol Technology University- Class of 2001. He's earned an additional Masters in Government Strategic Leadership / Chief Information Officer from the Information Resources Management College (IRMC / iCollege), National Defense University (NDU) class of 2010. He is a “Distinguished Graduate” from the iCollege' Federal / Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Program of 2010. He earned additional Graduate level certificates from the Government Strategic Leadership Program and the Enterprise Architecture Program at the NDU. Chris is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University where he earned DAWIA Level III certifications in both Information Technology and Program Management along with Level II certification in Requirements Management. His commercial certifications include: Project Management Institute Project Management Professional, FEAC Certified Enterprise Architecture in the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Administrator and Professional.

Chris volunteered as the President, Defense Acquisition University Alumni Association for the National Capital Area from 2010 - 2017. He was a contracted instructor that taught Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Computing Strategies, Performance Improvements, and Budgeting classes to Federal and Commercial Enterprise Architects from across the world for the FEAC Institute from 2007 - 2015.

Chris loves vacationing with his family, working, and riding his Harley Davidson - Fat Boy - motorcycle.
